I have BOTH Facer v3.1.1 and MegaLauncher v6.0.71 on my Palm Z22.
YES, a Z22.
Now my rant is this...
I love the today feature in Facer 3.x, BUT, the fact that that NO v3 thems are being produced is, well, BAD. I also notice this EXTREME prejuidice toward Lo-Res devices when themes are made. SOME of us like our Lo-Res device because its all we have. AND cant currently afford a nice shiny Hi-Res device.
Now, I recently DL'd and installed MegaLaunce (see above), and installed its Cobalt theme, and after using the background creation tool from their site have a nice background with that as well. ML even has a today gadget of a sorts.
SO, my question is twofold:
1. WHEN are we going to see themes for Facer 3.x? (Hi AND Lo Res).
and
2. Is there a chance that Facer can be made to use images for backgrounds that DONT rely on expansion cards? BECAUSE the bloody Z22 HAS NO CARDS AT ALL.
You see, this is also where a lot of prejuidice kicks in as well, being that there are devices with NO expansion at all, and everyone just writes progs that EXPECT that as the norm.
I guess if Palm would cut the price of a Tungsten TX down to the price I payed for the Z22 I THEN could afford it. :D
