Hello to everyone, I am Jesse's(a.k.a. pianoboy) mother. I found out this afternoon what he has been lying to your user forum. I can see from what I've looked at so far, that most of you have correctly discerned that he has been lying about his "souped up" lifedrive. He used to own a lifedrive(It is no longer his as of 20 minutes ago), and he did indirectly win it from an online contest, but it is by no means a superdrive. For the record, Jesse is 12 years old.
I must express my sincere apologies for the trouble he has caused here, and please understand, he is in BIG trouble!!!!!
I'm sorry to all of you,
Lisa(Jesse's mom)

Well, so you know, I for one understand that lying on forums (or anywhere else for that matter) is definitely a problem, but as far as the discussion regarding the lifedrive went, it was harmless. Dont think that it was alot of trouble. We have had real trouble in the past with users who insist on flaming and trying to get people upset. The souped up lifedrive "thread" led to an interesting discussion into the possibility of making such a device.

Welcome to 1src pianoboys_mom.
I find it refreshing to see parental involvement, particularly with pre-teens' activity on the net. It is also good to hear that consequences happen when a child's behavior does not meet with the family's expectations. I hope that Jesse learns from this experience and becomes a valuable contributing member of 1src at the appropriate time.
My best wishes to you and thanks.

Can we really be sure it's his mother. After all he could just regret the lies he told and wanted to make it right this way.
Anyway - we pretty much knew that the LD battery wasn't real.
You know. If it was possible, Junglemike would have done it already. :)
now we really should lock this thread. The kid was having some fun I guess and has re-registered as his mom to stop the nonsense...

Hi,
"Posing as his mother?"
I may be old here (40+) but no way would I have posed or pretended to be my mother.
There is no way that I leave myself up to be ripped on like that.
But, then again, I am old and this whole business was like piranhas at feeding time.

Read the past post and you will be enlightened. As far as pianoboy posing as his mother. Not in a million years would a 12 year want something like this to happen.

I just read through pianoboy's posts. Now this makes sense... He and I share a common first name...

How do we know this is his mom? Anyone who was pissed at P.D. could have done this. Not that hard. P.D. himself could in fact have done it. He had the guts to lie to us. (we also have his IP from him registering and stuff, right? We have people from 1src that are all over the world that can find him ;))

The admins could check the IP of both Pianoboys_mom and Pianoboy to see if its the same. Then you'd know. But I'll take her word for it. For if it wasn't, Pianoboy would surely object ;).
Thanks for making sure your son was disiplined. For lying at a young age only leads to problems down the road.
I hope he will learn his learn. You could always sell the LifeDrive to one of us so that the message is clear.
