In a previous thread a member asked in what order the clié-devices were released. Out of curiousty I looked into this and soon realized that its impossible to describe it as a straight line and that its hard to find out when a unit was discontinued.
After completing my attempt to map Sony devices I continued with other brands with the ambition to create a complete timeline of palm os devices, but the information I found was very incomplete. Now I hope that you guys might have some valuable information or input that you could share.

Wow didn't realise there was so much choice now.
I got in in 1997 with a Pilot 5000 and never looked back :)

I also work at a Bank and I'm in the same situation. The stuff they block amazes me. I'll have to wait until I get home to look at it.

They didn't put a music sign on the T665, shame on them ;)

You're missing one Handspring one. With the Visor and Deluxe, there was a rare Visor Solo which was basically a Visor that couldn't hotsync or connect to a computer in any way.

The Visor Solo is the same as the plain Visor; it just didn't come with a cradle.

You're missing my first pda, The Symbol SPT 1500... w/2MB RAM and built in barcode scanner / laser pointer. You've got the 1550 which eventually replaced it, but since you've got all 5 flavors of the Palm III...

There's no way that the NR series superceded the N710, but according to your chart it is. FIX IT!!!!!!! ;)

Excellent work! It's really interesting to see the progression. Great fodder for us history buffs.
There was a phone made by Qualcomm that ran PalmOS. They aren't made now but a google search shows some available for auction:

These devices should be included in your most excellent timeline.

Nice job, but I think your run on the S300 is too long and the S320 is too short. The N series Clie's came long before the NR series (about the same time as the S320).
bravo!
