TG50/U and Clie Files Update

Hi,

I tried installing this update, following the instructions from Sony's US support site..... unfrotunately, once I installed version 1.1, the older version won't dissaapear... i.e. I'm left with 2 Cliefiles on my machine (or at least 2 icons)...
Anyone else had this problem?
Please help....

I believe you are not able to delete it. I have tried to install the update too in my TG50/G.

I do not see there is two clieflies in the system? However, I do see that clieflies is install on the ram and takes up 200+kb of space.

I tried to move clieflies into the flash with Jackflash but it generate an error.

I guess if you can leave with the older version then do not install the new version.

Correct me if I wrong ;)

tiwee... thanks for the reply... guess i'll stick to original version.... anyway i only use McFile which is by far superior.... mainly just wanted to see if this was only my problem or if anybody else was suffering from it.....

think i saw 2 clie files on my system too .. dammnit ! what the heck does the update actually do ?

The update does not actually needed therefore I did not install it too!
