wHICH IS BETTER THE NX80V OR THE UX50? READ ARTICLE 3 YRS AGO SAID NX80V, ANY THTS?

I read an article in a buyers guide by pen computing 3 yrs ago when the ux 50 came out and the nx80v before that, saying the NX80v was the best high end pda out there. Better than any pocket pc, other Palm os pda OR the UX 50. Were they right? Ux 50 owners???? Any comments (any opinions)? :confused:

it's all down to needs and specification.
ux have dual wireless, better keyboard, more advanced palm os (5.2), more memory, smaller footprint and hhe (better audio and video).
nx have better display, cf slot, larger battery, 4 application buttons, a faster processor and 1.3mp camera.

hard to tell whos better. for me, the ux is more productive and therefor a better device.

mmmm in my opinion it depends of the software and your uses...i've hesitated too...finally got an ux with the eb-40

I myself like the UX best. I didnt know it had wireless until I just recently (finally) looked at the manual. (installing cd, syncing, etc. didn't seem to require it) It is so unusual (unlike the nx80 which had the original nr 70, nx 70, nz 90)

Get the UX for small size and dual wireless.
Get the NX for faster CPU, bigger battery and more odds and ends (audio remote, TV remote control IR, CF slot).

Beware that, to make the UX truly useful, you need that EB40 battery pack; and to double the usefulness of the NX, you need the WL100 or WL110 WIFI CF card.

i would say the nx80 would be the winner because with the wifi card, i think it beats the ux50. longer battery life, nicer screen, more memory. i personally like the nx80 becauseof 1.3MP camera but i have never owned one haha.

actually, the ux have more memory then the nx80. both ram and internal stick :p

i now have both so it is academic (i hope). The NX80v was worth a new Palm TX and the UX was worth a new HP 2495. That is a compliment to both. It IS hard to say Which is better. U have to LIKE Clies tho.

I do hear the ux50 is great to watch movies on.

with EB40...that is.. :cool: , dim yes but if u have nothing to compare it against then u wont notice

the ux50's memory was a joke, a lie actually. sony should have just made the 16mb backup into RAM andthe 29 mb internal into ram too, i find internal not much of a use since u have to buy a stick anyways
