I was at CC playing with the TG50 and I noticed that when entering in names or other info ( I use supernames but unfortuneatly the demo model didn't have it loaded ;)), to get to the next line from say, Last name --> First name you have to tap on it with the stylus. It seems a bit cumbersome when entering in contact info to have to thumb the last name pull out stylus, tap first name line, replace stylus, thumb first name, pull out stylus....you get the picture. I messed around for about 15 min on just that feature. Using all combo of shift and page down and tab I couldn't figure it out. Is it possible to "tab" through different text boxes/areas in an address book or other app without having to use stylus?

You can use Ctrl-P for next field, and Ctrl-O for previous field. An unofficial feature is that you can also use Ctrl-Tab for next field.

I am actually getting a funny problem but probably is OKEY that is having the problem.

I am not able to use Ctrl-O and Ctrl-P to go to the next field after installing OKEY.

However ctrl-tab did the trick to go to the next field.

I wonder has anyone also encounter this problem?

Thanks for the responses, I thought I tried those combos. HMMM I guess I have to go back and play again. I am really thinking of upgrading from my 665. :)

Tiwee:

I have encountered the same problem after installing OKEY. Ctrl-Tab works, but the proximity of the two keys makes it frustrating to use.

Overall, I like the keyboard, except for entering special characters.

Let me ask this: Is it possible to open addressbook and enter a new contact, name, phone, address etc. without ever using the stylus and if so is it in any way cumbersome? (Note: use of your "finger tip" would classify as a stylus since you would have to tap the screen. ;))

hmm... that ctrl-tab is pretty useful. Is there an unofficial "NUM LOCK" so that I can enter numbers without having to constantly hold down the black-line key?

OKEY is a freeware to allow sticky key.

You can find it in palmgear.
