MS error

i just got a UX50 and connected it to my computer. i installed all the software and tried to transfer songs to it. i used sonic stage and it says that the memory is write portected yet there is no way of loccking it like there is nothing on the stick that you can slide over to lock. it is a duo with adaptor that i am using. also i cant install anything onto the clie using hotsync.
iv tried to reset it restarted comp almost everything.

Don't use Sonic Stage. I use music match or a card reader. Hotsync I don't know?

i do have the problem with my sandisk memory stick pro duo. when i use the data import to send file to the audio folder , and the error msg 'the folder is corrupted, or unreadable' i can not access to the palm folder as well. but it sync well with the pc. what should i do now, i'm plan to buy one more sandisk 2 gb ms pro duo. worry about the compatibilities. my card does not have device id too.

Are you converting the songs to ATRAC? You need a special MS for that... ;)

it's normal mp3. now i need to data import to the internal mem, after that move the file from internal mem to ms. i say a removable disk in the window file explorer, i can go in, but cannot open the palm folder. what is wrong? pda or pc affected by virus? does any sandisk user facing the same ?
