Here is my opinion. It depends on what is most important to you. I purchased the NX in Dec., and had a really hard time trying to decide if I was going to spend money again so soon. I had purchased the NR70V the previous May. I love my NZ, but I really wish it was smaller. The reason I bought the NZ was because of the improvements in the camera. The quality is better. The flash makes all the difference in the world. The NZ color is much better than the NX. If those things are important to you, you might prefer to purchase the NZ. The only other negative I can think of on the NZ is the fact that the camera really drains the battery. I solved that problem by purchasing an extra battery. That worked out really well for me when I was on vacation in Colorado Springs last week--I got some great pictures. I do not use the wireless features, so I cannot advise you about that. If smaller size is more important to you than color and camera quality, the NX might be the better choice. Hope this helps.

Neither!
Sony has done nothing, but jerk everyone around with it's propreitary stance. Too many limitations every which way one turns and it is turning me off!

I currently own both the NX70 and NZ. I like both, but the NZ is in a whole other class. Intially, it takes a day to get over the size of the NZ. The NZ has a brigher screen, bluetooth, removable battery and better camera. If you do not need the above, I would go for the NX. There are alot of rumors of a new NX coming out in May. Of course, this could only be rumors. Patience may pay off.

I own an NX before and I brought the NZ because I want the camera. the camera on the NZ is a lot better than the one on NX.
Another reason I love the NZ is because or the CF slot. I will purchase the CF driver once it released. I can put all my MP3 and may be a movie in my NZ90. I can also use the NZ to browse the web when I am at home using the wireless lan card.
If you don't think the above two feature is important for you, you can purchase the TG-50 or some other model.

Get the NZ. The hinges are better, the whole thing feels more solid, it has built in bluetooth, the key board has a better feel, the usb cradle has AV out, there is a voice recorder and of course the 2 mega pixel camera!

I hate to admit it but if I was gonna spend cash on an OS5 device it would be the TT....Palm is decent with developers and from what I have heard is not using non standard programing when dealing with resolution etc. They have a really nice program for mp3s available but there is no camera but hey for the price difference (I know here we go with the youd have to carry two devices discussion) buy a really nice camera or hell you could almost buy a cheap computer with the difference.

This is an age old debate. I had the same struggle when making my decision...between the NX or NZ. Here are some posts that might help you decide correctly. I went with the NZ for three main reasons built in bluetooth, removeable battery and 2.0 mega pixel camera, I don't own a digital camera.

My totallly biased opinion, (I say with a big grin,) is obviously the NZ! If you are going to get a Clie, get the best one you can afford. You will never regret having a 2 Mega pixel camara, (which was the biggest selling point for me,) removable battery and the very best PDA screen currently available. Happy PDA shopping!

I vote for the NZ. I love the camera.
Larry N2IFP, if you hate Sony so much, why have you participated on Clie Source with over 4,000 posts? It seems that you could find another place to hang out that isn't devoted to Sony products. I'm not trying to be mean, just wondering why you would say something like that and try to discourage someone from buying a Sony device. I've had nothing but great experience with Sony and I think it's unfair to blast them so badly on a message board devoted to their products.

I have the NZ90. Been a loyal clie fan from my first S320. Great pda and having a camera with you all the time is icing on the cake. It has only been two weeks with the NZ now and I have had well over a dozen instances of "if only we had a camera!"
As far as the pda function. Very very fast. I moved up from an N760C and the difference in speed is unmeasureable. Excellent pda. The price may hurt but it's well worth the cash.

The 2.0 Megapixel Camera on the NZ is the Pimp... I show it off to my classmates and co-workers. They ALL want to kill me... That's how much they envy my NZ. I carry to every places I go, get that sony noise canceling headphone, and you will be in HEAVEN!
For the price you pay, every penny is worth it!

NZ is the best Palm OS device at the moment with better MP3, voice recording, better Digi Camera, better keyboard, nicer / cleaner appearance and extra BT function, etc.
Get NX only if you want slimmer, lighter device and don't mind the differents as mentioned above.

The biggest turn-off for me regarding the NZ is that cheap-a** Sony didn't upgrade the RAM to at least 32KB. For a product at this price point, particularly since 5KB of the skimpy 16KB isn't even available to the user.

ehh....Your KB mean MB right?

The reason why, i think, Sony didn't include more RAM is because OS 5 could only support up to 16mb of RAM. OS 5.2 will support more, but was not available at the time of the NZ release.

I saw it at other thread that it's can support up to 128mb.
