Use a quick-attach, quick release tripod for your Treo. [details (http://www.1src.com/?m=show&id=1570)]

I think this product is nothing more than a toy. I don't own a Treo but I am somewhat of an amatuer photographer. What I know is that you need a tripod for serious photography where heavy equipment is an issue and portraits/landscapes where lower shutter speeds are used. I don't see the point in a tripod (mini or otherwise) for a .3MP/1.3MP P&S cellphone camera with no optical zoom. As for videos, it'll be cheaper to prop the phone against a wall while you do your thing.

LMAO. I wouldn't get one of these for a Treo or any camera phone. Except perhaps one of those fancy 10mp Japanese cell phones.

Also, if I wanted to to videos with it, I could just velcro one to my computer screen :)

This will go the way of the 'screen savers' for PDAs. Just as useful. Also, when taking stills, the action of pushing the button to take the picture would negate the reason for a tripod (potential movement of the PDA). You would need some sort of cable release. Only use seems to be recording video from a stationary source.

Well you could always use the timer but as you said, it still serves no purpose.

Oooops. Forgot about that. Still, you have to really be using your PDA camera a lot to need something like this.
