Hey could someone tell me how much you would pay for this package:

Clie UX-50 (damage: about 5 very light and small scratches on the scren that can only be seen when powered off, no stylus)
Sony 512mb MS PRO (like new)
Leather USB charging case (like new)
Portable USB sharger (the one that runs on 4 AAs, like new)
USB cable (like new)
and Charging cradle (like new)

How's the battery? If anything, being that it doesn't have much wear and tear, I'd probably pay between $200 ~ $300. If I had the money.

The UX itself is like $150, the memory card maybe $50, the rest of the stuff is worth like $30 all together. So like $230. :)

Show me somewhere you can get a UX for $150 although with its age it should be in that range.

It is old, and I am guessing it is scratched (the screen is) and the battery is old (which it probably is).

I just got mine for 320$ on Ebay and it looks practically new, which is very nice.

Considering that this was selling for 1000$ in 2003 and I bought my TG50 for 500$ in 2003, it's still a bargain for me for the price I paid. :)

The key to what you'd pay for it is always what it's worth to YOU. Everyone has a different level they are comfortable paying. In the event someone reading in is interested I happen to know a guy sitting in my seat as I type who has the following available if someone is interested....

UX50 - essentially mint (usb charging mod done, screen is scratchless)
original cradle and associated wires
original CD's
1GB Sandisk memstick
USB charging cradle (used as car mount currently, well used)
3 Stylie
krussel leather case with belt clip

The battery holds a very strong charge (I've let it sit for 4 days of no use and it still had 75%+ charge left on it)

If anyone is interested I could be persuaded to let it go for $275 shipped in the US...

You know I did a lot of research into the UX50 before buying it and I'll admit I was quite nervous reading all these posts about how bad the battery life is. Coming from a Treo650 I was actually pleasantly surprised it was no where near as bad as people make it out to be. I can easily use mine daily for 3 or 4 days with several wifi hotsyncs a day and some very light bluetooth usage before needing a charge. Granted I know if I watch a movie or surf via wifi it drains much quicker but it's still not all THAT bad. My treo got 3-4 days of battery out of it tops, this was no real change for me. If your coming in to it from something that gets 10-12 days you'd be dissappointed but my guess is you aren't coming into the UX getting that. Your certainly not coming in getting that with any bluetoth or wifi....

Just my opinions....

I got mine of Ebay and it seems not that bad. Watching video really drains the battery. But I still ordered a replacement 900mah battery just in case, to have a fresh battery in there.

But I also have the Gadget Infinity case, I can charge it at work, in the car... far from stuck.

I got my ux40 on ebay one month ago for 180€ with MS 128MB and the proporta leather case.

But i couldn't resist anymore...

hey everyone, sorry for the late response. The battery is just fine, ill let it run for a day at full charge and see what it holds up to. It has passed the battery test app I once had about two months ago. I can't believe how much the price has dropped; in a week from today i bought it a year ago at $320.
