zire 72: rotate screen

I read postings from a year ago bemoaning the lack of software that permits one to rotate the zire 72 screen 90 degrees. Has anyone found a solution since that time? Because the battery life sucks I have to keep it plugged in, and since I frequently use a keyboard I have to keep it on its side. Reading the screen would be much easier if I could rotate it.
