MS Pro ENG update for TG50 out

Hey,

did anybody checked the ms pro update? Does it work? Any improvements over the "format" trick?

I have compared the difference bet existing driver version and
the current version. I did not try out the format yet.

Existing driver version:

3452MSLIB 2.10
3452Slot 2.20 (No idea cannot find)
SCSILib 1.01
PXA250UsbLd 1.00
FATFS 5.0
CardInfo 4.5

New driver version:

3452MSLIB 2.10 (no change)
3452Slot 2.20
SCSILib 1.20
PXA250UsbLd 1.21
FATFS 5.01
CardInfo 4.5S

After I installed the new driver into TG50. The subsquent driver
have been correctly updated.

After some testing, I think that there is a difference despite MS Pro can already function out of the box on TG50. At first, I thought that it is to address NX and NZ export and import problem.

I do not know if I am right but I find that VFS have improved. Before I apply the patch, my VFSmark have a inconsistent reading of 180 - 190 but never reaches 200 marking. After I apply the patch, the VFSMark gives a consistent reading of 205 after 3 continuous tries. I can see clieviewer function faster but still cannot beat acidimage.

Anyone out there have seen any changes after there apply the patch on their TG50? I have updated it and have no problem.

Still, I am still quite disappointed that MS Pro still cannot play and record Atrac3. I wonder will there be a patch or it is a permanent limitation?

I have found that some data files that I could transfer to the old MS sticks would not transfer to the MS Pro using MS Import. I also couldn't transfer PDF docs using Acrobat for Palm OS ,but I feel that was an acrobat problem. I believe the Import issue was  one of the corrections in the driver. I was able to import movies using the image convertor with no problem.

What is the URL of the english update?

Sorry to keep asking dumb questions but I searched the Sony support site a lot and could not find these new driver either in TG50 or MS PRO.

Can anyone help me ?

I just looked, this update if for Asian/Oceana sold units, not for ones in the United States. Does anyone know when the one for the North American units will be out?

Sorry, I was wrong. Its in english but for the Sony CLIE Handhelds sold in Asia-Pacific and Oceania...
