Hi,

I had just install the tomeraider and download the .pdb file with the whole internet movie database till present. That file is 19 mb, so I donīt have that rom memory to open. Is there some way to use the memory stick as rom?

Sound like you're confusing ROM, RAM and MS. They are all have different function and capability.

ROM is only available for OEM programs that come from factory. It is something you don't have to worry about unless you're in dire need of more RAM space, then you can mess around with JackSprat/JackFlash to delete and replace the OEM apps with 3rd. party apps. Hard reset would not delete ROM.

RAM is probably is the one that you'll worry about since it is used for storing 3rd. party apps (.prc) and database (.pdb) which include database of the OEM apps and the 3rd. party apps.

Many apps with database, nowadays, are VFS (Virtual File System?) capable, which means they can be launched from the external card (MS) if you put them in /Palm/Launcher directory. Their read-only database can also be put in MS. I don't use TomeRaider, but if this is like PalmReader, it ought to be able to read its database from MS since ebooks can be pretty big like your 19mb one.

I think you mean RAM (Random Access Memory) instead of ROM (Read Only Memory).

FlyClieguy is correct just copy the file into the /Palm/Launcher directory and Tomeraider should pick it up.

Thanks guys, and sorry I was talking about RAM...

I just move the tomeraider and the pdb file from powerun and put on launcher with the zlauncher and it works...
