Is there any apps that will allow me to unzip zip files on my palm?

HandZipper by HandWatch (http://www.handwatch.com/handwatch/fetch.php3?form_sec_name=PalmHandZipper)

Resco Explorer (http://www.resco.net/)

Those are my two favorite. That are many others.

You also can use UniCMD (http://www.unicmd.de/en/index.html). The best: it's free!

I also use UniCMD :) It's great!! I can download app files using Blazer or NetFront, unzip them in UniCMD and install... Voila!!

Hi PinCushionQueen ! Which version of UniCMD do you use? Any problems or conflicts? Thanks!

Some Clies (e.g. TH55) can unzip Zipfiles natively in the Clie Files app.

I use that on my TH and RescoExplorer on my Zod.

I've been meaning to try UniCMD - It sounds intriguing!

Resco Explorer ROCKS!!Ditto!!! And much more than just a zip file manager. Resco Explorer is one of the most indispensable apps on my PDA. ;)

There are days that... dare I say it... Explorer just about tempts me to let it be the default launcher instead of ZLauncher... there I said it... now I feel better.

Seriously though, RE is just about as powerful of an app that one could ask for on the Palm.

UniCMD is an excellent freeware alternative, but lacks a lot of the *finish* of RE. Also, the UI is very clumsy. Also, I do remember reading of several people having issues with it on LifeDrive's.

I use v1.813 available here: http://www.unicmd.de/en/news.html

I haven't had any problems or conflicts on my TX or my old T3. I do get this one error message every time I copy/install from my SDcard to my RAM

"?<bufSize> no 64Bit-align?" I always tap ok and nothing bad has ever come of it. I have no idea what it means... other than I think it has something to do with NVFS - since I never got the error message on my T3.

I'm a basic user of file managers, I unzip, move/copy/delete files, sometimes I beam but that's about it. I know that there are many, many more things that UniCMD and RE can do - so I won't promise that there won't be possible issues for more advanced users, since I've never tried...

I do keep FILEZ around for altering attributes of files and moving files between two folders on my card, which uniCMD won't let me do. :)

im not sure if that statment is true, but according to toysoft site: (http://www.toysoft.ca/lightnzip.html)
- Unzip Winzip® and WinRAR® files to the card, any size.

Nop. it is a false statement. it does not unrar rar archives.

I'll give UniCMD a try, sounds like something I could use aside from the built-in ClieFiles. Thanks!
