Hi,

I am currently using Resco Backup which I set
at 3am. This morning at about 4.30am, woke up
and found my T5 has hanged with an error message
"... preferences opened" (do not know exact message
still sleepy). Thus it was on for about 1.5 hrs.
Note that it was not able to auto shutdown
and what scares me was the device feels quite warm

Did a soft reset and then switched off. When I tried to
startup it did not work. Now I am starting to get worried.
Let it cool down for a few minutes before I started
charging the device. In the morning, still cannot turned
on the device. At the last resort did a soft reset before
it works. Have to restore the save preferences file before
all is well.

The moral of the story: Be careful on doing unattended
backup on Palm.

RBackup has some issues with NVFS, at least on the TX. Pruss's free NVBackup application is an excellent alternative. Although I own RB, I now use NVBackup as my primary backup solution. If the T5 is an NVFS device, which I believe it is, NVBackup is your best bet. :)
