Hello everyone.
I have the TG50 and wanted it to work with a BlueTooth-enbled mobile phone.
Does anybody have any good recommendation before I got one?
Even old model will do? As a matter of fact, I'm eyeing the Ericsson T39.
Thanks.

Works with the Nokia 3650; although I cannot receive mail. I think the problem lies with the phone init strings for which I cannot find any for the 3650.

Hi,
I am using a Siemens S55 and everything works fine. Surfing, email and SMS... Great phone. I love the combination.

I used my SIM in another Nokia for a few days, and when I put it back in the 3650, the SMS program promptly found the recieved SMSs which had arrived while I was using the other phone (even though they no longer displayed on the 3650; but still ignored the SMS messages that had arrived on the 3650!!
Still seems to indicate that it might be the init codes which are somehow telling the CLIE where to look for SMS messages on the SIM card; and pointing to a wrong location for the 3650.
Interesting problem, shame I cannot work out a solution!

sony-ericsson t68i works well. yes even the old t39. I havent tried it but it should work with r520m also since it is essentially the same as t39.

Hi Jetro,
I personnaly own a T39 and as you have a T--68 you might have the answer to my question : I can't maintain the BT connection between my TG50 and my T39. After a few minutes of connection inactivity betweem the two units, the T39 cuts the BT link and I have to reenter all its menu in order to reactivate it...Any way to tweak this ?
Thanks in advance

Works well with my t68i using SMS, ClieMail & NetFront.
However, when I tried it with my new SE P800, I was not lucky. The TG50 was asking for a driver. I tried to search at the SE support site but found none.
If there is anyone in this forum who knows where to get this driver, please post the site. TIA

I think the best option for bluetooth phone is the T39. I'm using it and it has better batt life than the T68i.

I ran a search for you at the most informative cell phone place I've encountered to date, WirelessAdvisor.com, where I found a link stating that all set-up instructions are posted at:
http://snurl.com/1gjn
The true URL = http://www.nokia3650.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=277
But you need to first register to get in. So do that first, then try the above link. And good luck.
Now.. does anyone know if Verizon will EVAH!! relate to an updated Bluetooth phone??? (sniff, snort)

Can someone provide some instructions on how to use the Nokia 3650 with TG-50.
Whenver I try to connect, I receive an error message about modem commands.
Is there a set-up faq?

I was having an awful ime tryng to get my TG50 and Siemens S55 work together on T-Mobile USA. I beleive it was an Init string issue.
Out of desperation I tried the Web To Go service (Here (http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?prodID=42744) ). After installing it, my TG50 auto detected the phone, provider and got me on line in about 3-4 minutes. There is a free nag-screen Lite version that limits you to just thier Web To Go services and a Pro version that allows you to use the connection with third party apps. I upgraded to THE Pro version after it got me online so quickly.
I did have some problems with the application recognizing my upgrade and had connection problems last evening, but everything seems smooth this morning. Unfortunatly, the app does not let you see the script or init string it uses.
I think this service is worth a shot if someone has been having alot of difficulties getting their devices to play nice with each other. The content provided is decent and browsing is quick since content is optimized for mobile devices.

A better decription for the Web To Go service is at their site (http://www.webtogo.de/uk/) . They do provide support for T-Mobile/Voicestream and cingular in the USA.

Web To Go doesn't support the Nokia 3650 phone. Several people said they have the TG-50 working with this phone.
How'd they do it???

I am currently shopping for a BT phone and I have heard from a co-worker that she dislikes her t68i because of the reception and the sluggishness of the interface. Openions?
Also, which service do you use? She used AT&T, but I was thinking of t-mobile.
I would stay with cingular but their selection of phones in the DC area blows

I am using the Nokia 3650 and really like the phone. I can't vouch for the Bluetooth functionality beyond exchanging files with my TG-50 which works well. I have not been able to configure my palm to take advantage of the INternet access.
I use T-mobile in the Philly area with generally good coverage.

It works seamlessly with the SE T-68i. I can send and receive SMS as well as send and retrieve e-mail from my POP3 mail account. I can surf the net too.

I'm going to get SE T610!
Any idea if it would work seamlessly with TG50?
Has anyone tried it?
Not sure if we need to get the driver for TG....
