I own a PalmOne Tungsten E2. Before this I owned two other less powerful Palm OS PDA's so I'm somewhat familiar with PDA operation.
The question I have involves the calendar application.
Are there any enhancements for this program?
Also I have a lot of data within my calendar application.
From my desktop computer, its OS is Windows XP, is there anyway to transfer my data on to a Word Processing program or other format?
Thanks.

There are a number of third-party enhancements. Not exactly sure what you are looking for. If I were to guess it would be a journal. Perhaps DayNotez with the desktop (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&prodid=8732).

I would install Agendus (http://www.iambic.com/agendus/palmos/) and DateBK5 (http://www.iambic.com/agendus/palmos/), then buy the one you like the best.

MonthPlanner gives a very nice month at a glance view using icons and option for small text. Also has a journal feature. Runs on top of the existing calendar app for setting alarms and such.
I really like Agendus' "Vivid Agenda" feature. It allows you to have entries automatically assign icons and colorizations based on text strings in the entries. I find it very useful in getting a visual snapshot of my upcoming events at a glance.
I don't know how that answers the question though :D There is something called Date2Memo (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=14076)
that I believe does what you are asking. Look at the bottom of the PalmGear page and there is a 'to csv ' version as well, which I personally would find more usefull.

There are many free calendar enhancements. A good source to look at is www.freewarepalm.com. KS Datebook comes to mind first. More powerful and well rounded replacements to the built-in PIM apps would be DateBk and Agendus. Both have adequate free trials.
An free enhanced memopad replacement would offer basic text editing. You would also need to download a program that would convert your data into a .pdb file that wan be opened by the memopad replacement. Anything more powerful and you would want to look at Documents to Go or Quick Office.

A good freeware : A5. http://www.a5agenda.com/
Shareware : agendus or datebk. I prefer the last one.
