Hi, it is rather easy.
Steps:
1. You need to install MS Import/Export.
2. Install SyncWizard.
3. Make sure your HotSync Manager is set to the same serial port or Com port as your BlueTooth device.
4. When upon launching SyncWizard, your HotSync Manager will automatically be turn off (disappear from sys tray. This is normal).
5. Ensure your Hotsync Com port in SyncWizard is set as the same as your Com Port of Bluetooth device.
6. Click on the HotSync icon on your NZ90.
7. Synchronization will start, you can go to View, and select Card. It will immediately show all the content in your MS Pro.
8. To tranfer file to and fro your NZ90, use Upload and Download function of SyncWizard.

The Asia-Pacific SONY web site you mention
http://www.css.ap.sony.com/
has patches available for download for the NZ90/G and the NZ90/H . Mine is a NZ90/U (bought in the US). Does anybody know the difference? Is there a danger of installing a patch for a /G or /H into a /U and causing self-destruction?

Wait for the USA version to be on the safe side.

Yes, first, MS Import doesn't work and the stick has to be re-formatted to FAT in order to use music and video files.

I just tried this patch on my US NZ90, and so far it appears to have solved the MSImport issue. My 512M MSP is formatted FAT16 right now. I'll reformat it to FAT32 and see if that changes things...

I installed the patch and it is working fine so far....
I have not reformatted my 256 MS PRO....
To the person who said "why do I need this, it works fine for me", try running MSImport using your pro, it will not work without this patch.
Greg (woo hoo! now all I need is the CF driver!)

Strange, the file ended with EN_US so I thought it would be ok and it was... The MSPro now works with import/export ... I am very happy...

looks like the Asia Pacific patch correctly updates the US English files just file. The file names in the AP NZ are different, but there is no mistaking it is working!

First let me say a word of thanks for all the great info on this board.
Just switched from a rusty trusty old worn and weathered NR70 (first version) to an NZ90. At first was a little unsure but after one week all I can say is WOW, love it.
Installed MSProNZ90_enUS.prc
Syncing to a 17 Apple Powerbook running OS X 10.2.5
Mounted MS256 on desktop with MS Import and would'nt you know it up pops iPhoto and imported photos so fast I thought it wasn't working.
Regular MS's worked fine all along.
Thanks again!

It's work but it's 'write' speed is slower than normal MS 128mb.

Luckily I just get 256mb MS Pro. I will wait for CF 512MB support later.

yttan... i did a full backup to both my standard ms, and my pro, the standard took about 2.5 minutes, and the pro about 1.5 minutes..
would you please try this test? this is a "real world" test of "real" performance improvement, an application you actually use.
thanks,
greg
by the way, what the heck is your real name?

Greg, My real name is Y. T. TAN.
I got the same result with yours. MS Pro is faster than MS for the backup data.

good deal, it's nice to get some speed on the backup... by the way, I have a program, mapopolis, that uses maps, and reads them into ram from the MS.... it is WAY faster on the PRO, the maps are about 2-3 megabytes each... that alone is worth it... thinking of a 1 gig ms pro now, found one for $499...

yttan, you wrote earlier in this thread that the write speed of the ms pro was slower than a regular ms.... i have the opposite experience... will you please try a backup to the regular ms and the pro and time each one?

greg,
I had tried it indeed, MS Pro is faster for backup 6.1MB in 1min 40sec and whil normal MS took 2min 26sec to complete it.
That will mean that the VFSmark is useless software which give wrong data!!! No wonder everytime I run it and it will give me different readings. I had deleted this useless software.
Thanks for your help in clarify the MSPro's speed is faster in read and write speed.
