It would be nice to see what this app offers that is different from the many other file managers that are out there. What makes this one worth considering?

If you want this to really stand out, you can add ftp remote dir/copy support. You can use my (BSD licensed) ftp code from NVBackup 1.09.

I looked at the screenshots and must confess that while it looks very pretty I am dismayed a little by all the icons. The icons are not all self-explanatory (and they violate Palm's user interface guidelines which say that one should have text buttons).

What's the preliminary cost for this piece of software? How is it different from FileZ, Resco Explorer. Will it support files on external SD cards?
Have to say I dont like the windoze appearance...each to his own I guess!

It looks good, but as of now it only supports 320 x 320 resolution. I need 320 x 480 for my LD (it just looks better). Also, in order for me to consider this over Resco Explorer, it would have to have RAR and Zip capabilities. Even though Resco supports Zip, it doesn't do Rar, which would be cool.
Totally off topic: Is Blackjack ever gonna get upgraded to be compatable with Pocket-tunes? I emailed Deluxeware about 4 months ago concerning this issue. Normsoft confirmed that it wasn't their doing. But deluxeware confessed that it is impossible to play Blackjack while listening to music. Any idea? Oh, and lets not forget an update for 320 x 320, and 320 x 480 devices.

Looks very nice, but I had some problems. I tried to "create" a new folder on my SD card. It had "no name" but just appeared as another folder icon. I tried to rename this mysterious folder and the program crashed. From that point, any attempt to access this folder within DxFiles or other file management programs was unsuccessful; it was "visible" but clicking on the folder to select it either did nothing (or crashed other programs) and I found general usage of my SD card unstable. I eventually had to copy all the contents of my card to the computer, reformat the card, and copy it all back. I hope this is helpful as it certainly was a pain for me!
