I installed this last night and have a few questions - 1) the file that shows up in the file list is Graffiti 2 library even though on the card it shows up as 1.99 - I moved it to ram from the card and it is no longer 1.99 rather "Graffiti 2 library" 2) also how do you uninstall this is you wish to and 3) does this program have any effect on full screen graffiti, because my full screen graffiti is working sporadically - don't know if it is this program or another? Any comments appreciated - thank you

To clarify this further - Graffiti 1999 would not load to RAM so I loaded it to my mem card and it shows up as Graffiti1999.prc. Next I moved it to RAM and I don't see any file in RAM with this name - there is however a "Graffiti 2 Library" in RAM. Does any of this make sence? Does Graffiti1999.prc change to Graffiti 2 Library? Is Graffiti1999 invisible? Do I actually have it loaded? If so could it be causing my full screen graffiti input problems? AND last but not least - how do I go about uninstalling it if I wish to? Thanks for any help

I installed graffiti 1.99 a while ago so I don't remember all the details, but it does NOT show up as G1.99. It is one of the 'graffiti 2 library" files, I don't know which one. I use Graffit Anywhere on the whole screen and I don't have any problems. To delete G1.99, change the creator and type using Filez or similar program, soft reset, then delete it.
G1.99 is just Graffiti 2 from an older Palm model. The way you see if it is loaded is check to see if there's a delay between letters like "L" and the next letter you enter. If the delay is much shorter than it used to be, then it installed.
The PRC filename and the actual database name are not the same; that graffiti 2 library is indeed the same file. Delete it (by either turning on its recyclable flag and resetting, or changing its type code, resetting and deleting), and the Palm will use the version in ROM instead.
