I'm not really big on third party appliances and hacks/fixes or overclocking, so would I need Uncache? My palm doesn't crash except occasionally once and a while. The only third party stuff I got on there is Rescoe Explorer, Uninstall Manager, and Salling clicker. I probably wouldn't notice the difference if I bought it...or would I?

IMHO, UnCache should have been part of the OS. You will notice an increase in speed if you use uncache, but only because it lets you control what applications get loaded into DBCache at reset. If you do any web surfing, use the Web app (Blazer), you should at the very least install memunfragment. I find using UnCache and OffFlush has changed the launch time of Blazer from about 1 minute to instantaneously! This is because it does not try to flush the cache before it runs.
Another benefit of UnCache is that it can help to determine what apps are causing any instability in your system. By only adding those items that need to be in the list (check out Resco Explorer's notifications report), then deleting one a time and resetting, you can isolate the problem app. By doing this I made my TX reset free.
The less third party stuff you use the less you need UnCache, but IMHO Blazer is an inferior piece of software and should never have been put on the TX. NetFront is sooooooooooooooo much better. Dmitry has created an installer for netfront 3.1 and it is accesible in another thread on this board.
Just my 0.02.
