Is splashwallet really worth the money? All I really need is two apps. One that can run my bank balance on multiple accounts and one that can contain my passwords and so forth. But I don't like the idea of spending $50 n something as simple as that. Is there something less pricey out there? I don't need it to be too user friendly or with a lot of colors and bells and whistles. Any tips?

It's only 40 bucks for the whole suite. For me I think it was worth the money as Splash Photo is a good application too. You can search PalmGear, as there are other apps, but Splash Money was my favorite. It is HiRes+ now and it was customizable for my needs and it can sync to Quicken. Splash Data is also a good guy developer in my book.

the problem is I don't need the other stuff, like the hi res and so forth. And I don't want to have to pay for that. Thanks for your input n2ifp, I really appreciate it.

Here's a link to purchase SplashWallet for only $32...

(Thanks to the person who posted this on another thread.)

It's a great suite of applications, I think. SplashID is one of the most useful aps on my Clie, and both it and SplashMoney look/work great in hires. SplashShopper is also a very good application, and will be even better when it's upgraded to hires/+. SplashPhoto may not be as "robust" an image viewer as AcidImage, but the desktop tool makes it very easy to import perfectly cropped/sized images to your Clie--there's no easier tool to accomplish this that I know of...

One note though: SplashData has a great upgrade program. If you decide to only buy one application now, you can apply that purchase price towards the whole suite later...however, you won't beat that $32 price...

I use a freeware application to manage my checkbook called mycheckbook. It's a lifesaver since i practically live off my debit card and don't wanna carry around my checkbook to keep track of my accounts to. It's pretty nice. Oh yeah, and it's FREE.

Enjoy.

that's exactly why I want it in my Clie, because I don't want to carry the check book when all I use are my debit and credit cards
