Has anyone tried the following DA's on OS5 Clie's... I'm having a few problems with them.....
I'm running them on a TG50 using Mcphling....

memopadDA - fatal exception (Emul68kCommon.c, Line:1594, Index out of range)

audioctrlDA - nothing shows up on the screen when i select it

ToDoDA - fatal exception (Emul68kCommon.c, Line:1594, Index out of range)

AudioListDA - gives me a message "Audio Library Not Found" and then quits.

Call Lookup DA - The query window appears correctly, but once i launch a search it gives me a Fatal Exception.

Any help would be really welcome.....

I am guessing that all these functions do not operate the same on the new OS5 machines therefore there just never gonna work. I however do not have an OS5 machine to test this so its just speculation.

How are you activating McPhling to call the DAs? I find that if I activate McPhling with a stroke, memopadDA works fine. But, if I activate McPhling with a button, daMemopad crashes.

I don't know if it is a McPhling bug, or a problem with DAs in general on OS5. I just make sure to activate McPhling with a stroke if I want to run my DAs.

KCoram - thank you so much for that McPhling launching tip. My DAs were suddenly crashing so I had to delete them. After reading your post I realized that launching McPhling with a button was indeed causing the crash. I would say it's a McPhling bug. I'm a registered user, so I will contact the developer. I hear he's very responsive. Thanks again!

I did not manage to run any DA on my Clie NX70. Though PowerDA is a launcher for DAs for OS5.
PowerDA can be found at www.GreenDragonSoftware.com

Many DA's work with my NX70. There are a few that don't though. I have links to some places to downlaod them on the web site

(btw, I developed power da.. thanks for the plug mikra :) )
