Infrared and Internet (WIN-XP)

I setup my Infrared connection to my laptop using Ollie Payne's instructions, however I cannot get my NR70v onto the Internet. The connection is established with my notebook, and I can see it as an incoming connection however whenever I try to access the internet I cannot.

I do have Internet Connection Sharing set for my dial-in connection so I would think this should be working. Is there something I am overlooking here? I did a search but couldn't find anything related to this problem.

Also, I see the incoming connection at only 9600, any reason it's not going higher even though I have my connections set at 57600?

Can someone point me towards Ollie Payne's guide? I can't find it anywhere, and I'd like to give this a shot, seeing as I can't get my NR70 to talk to my Nokia 8390.
