New Palm OS Treo ready for takeoff

A little more than four months after Palm released the Windows Mobile-based Treo 700w on Verizon Wireless' EV-DO (Evolution Data Optimized) network, it is set to announce a Palm OS version that can connect to EV-DO networks, CNET News.com has learned. Cnet reports in the article that it could be Verizon or Sprint. I am very, very, very confident that it's Sprint.

"i was talking just yesterday to one of the most knowledgable spint
customer service guys who really helped me get a whole bunch of things
done (which rarely happens) that the release date was supposed to be
may 28, but that it would not really be available until june 13 for
purchase..."

I was also told from my contact at Sprint that it would actually be available the 1st week of June. They are probably announcing it, and shipping a week or 2 after.

In which case, the announcement precedes release by several weeks right?
