Some time ago, there was a thread about flinging a memory stick out from its slot and measuring the distance...
I guess the record is just a few feet away..
Just wondering if MS Pro will have better trajectory?
Anyone has tried it?
What about MS Select?

Well, the trajectory is more or less the same, but it's more beautiful when flinging out due to its pearl-like colour.

I think this calls for a competition. I got need to get my 1 giger on a diet though so that he can compete. No one can touch my little guy once he gets into shape though. He is the Carl Lewis of the MS world!

Tried on my TG, my 64MB stick flew just about 3 feet away. :-(

It depends on the size...we should have different size classes. I'm sure a 1 Gig is heavier than a 64Mb :D:D

But u can't compare a 1 gig ms pro to a regular 1 gig ms (b/c the latter doesn't exist), you would be abel to compare ms pro 256 versus memroy stick select

In this case, I will propose a handicap system to compensate the 1giger. :D

Ok, so how are we doing this?

Are we measuring the distance when we're holding the Clie while standing up?

Are we measuring the distance when we're holding the Clie on a level surface at a certain angle?

While holding my clie on the ground at a 45 degree angle, I get 15 inches.

While standing with my clie at a 45 degree angle approx. 4' above the ground, I get 42 inches.

And also I would suggest Sony to include this "max distance" in all the models specification!

I was on Visorcentral when I had my sexy Blue Visor Neo and then I switched to Treocentral when I got my Treo 90...and..well they don't have a Cliecentral so this was the next natural move...:D

Same here :) Except I went from a Visor right to CLIE :)
