Daylight Savings Time

I am new and extremely green when it comes to the PalmOS. Under "Prefs," is the toggle for DST for adjusting the clock manually or for adjusting it automatically?

Ex. Do I manually turn this setting on in April and Off in October?

Or does turning it on mean that the device will automatically adjust the time settings in those months?

That's what I would expect it to be. I downloaded an NTP utility which, on any other system, would make the necessary adjustments for DST. But when I synch with the time server, its actually an hour off... UNLESS I turn OFF DST.

Weird... unless everyone is playing a cruel joke on me and not telling me that I'm an hour off. ;-)
