New version of SlovoED dictionaries |(v6.0 now) In their infinite generosity, they have offered me a %70 discount to upgrade my Eng-Eng, Eng-Fr and Eng Ger dictionaries. Great except the the deluxe Eng-Eng dictionary is $60 :eek:

This is basically a wordnet dict (~225000 wds). These guys are turning into Iambic by the minute!!

The original SlovoEd from Installation CD-Rom was buggy as hell in my TH55/E1, so trash it went. I never looked back or care about it since.

I've been very happy with MSDict. It can be mapped to my useless Find button, even the one in status bar. I can stay hires+ (320x480 or 480x320) all the time, read eBooks. if I want to see a word, then I just tap on the Find button on status bar, do the lookup, then press the McPhling BACK button (or swipe) to go back to the eBook. ;)

The only reason that I use this program is because they have the Merriam Webster dictionary in an easy to use format.

I do not really like the content of other dictionaries.

60$ is too expensive.

If you are looking for a monolingual French-French dictionnary, Slovo-Ed is the best I've found.

:eek: , I've had a look at their web site, Fr-Fr is now talking but is 60 $ too ! :eek:
