I bet the price will go down soon. Maybe below $100. I see a lot of kids with DS, more than kids with PSP. What's up with that? Don't they want to watch cheese outside?
You'll love the DS Lite. I find myself using it more than the PSP. I don't know why that's the case but I believe Nintendo understands gaming more than its competitors.

I second Ezikial's statement. Speaking of which, Apple is rumored to have a dedicated video player in the works. So a bigger screen, with lots of storage and none of Sony's intentional and annoying limitations. ;)
I'm thinking the current DS will drop to about $100 and then be phased out.
How's the battery life on the DS Lite? I'm assuming it's the same as the old style DS?
*off-topic like usual.*
Can anyone here beat Tetris Pus on level 5? :) I can beat standard on 5, but only hold out on Push for about 10 minutes or so. I've almost beat the scurvy CPU, but then loose my rhythm and get decimated.

Here's a video review (http://www.cabel.name/2006/04/nintendo-ds-lite-third-look.html) that includes a battery life test. :)

Ok, I'm sold. I wonder how long the battery will last on the dimmer settings?
The brightness comparison certainly angst at least one hardcore PSP fan. :o

The battery life is better, and the battery is bigger, from what I remember, if you use the low settings, which if I remember are still a bit brighter than the regular DS's full settings. Could be wrong though, so don't quote that.
The only thing about the PSP comparison that was kinda "eh" was the fact that the PSP screen has one more brightness setting- you have to have it plugged in though, so that's not really portable, but you get what I mean...
New Super Mario Brothers looks AWESOME!

But.... That's not a realistic comparison for a "portable" game machine.
They were talking about that in the comments below.

Hey, Jack, if you would like, because I would really like to, we could play a match of WC3 tonight, DOTA, on Bnet, or, a regular 1v1 or something.
My laptop wont be the best, but then I won't have an advantage =P

Maybe tonight. I checked with my friends earier, to see if they wanted to play. If we do play, it would most likely be after 10 tonight,(pacific time) and only if my one friend(brother of friend) returns to his home in LA, so he can use his CD to get on BNet. When I visit them locally, I, or any of his brothers can just pass him a CD to launch the game.
I'll call them again in about hour, since they're probably eating grub right now.
What's the latest you can play?
