View Full Version : Error (7905)?
When selecting a homemade background jpg I made I get this error. Anyone know what it means? I've made my own before and they worked. I sized it down to 320x480 and the size is not that large, around 30kb.

Try looking here (bottem of the page) http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4995&highlight=jpg+zlauncher
This may be the same problem you are having.

I downloaded a couple of Yishow backgrounds -- I'll bet we're talking about the same ones, Tixx -- and got that error message. Couldn't read them in any other image viewer either.
I ran them through Photoshop and did a save-as -- the downloaded jpgs had been originally saved for progressive format (something you see on Web pages when photos seem to load in layers). I re-saved them, checking "baseline" format, and they worked fine.
The choices are baseline, baseline optimized, and progressive. Progressive ones definitely won't work.

here is one that gives me that error:
budlight bg (http://www.cliesource.com/sdownload/fileinfo.php?id=1699)
I can view it fine with AcidImage and it shows up in the ZL thememanager but I try to select it as BG and get the error

Re Budlight bg - I just checked that. Sure enough, that file was uploaded in the "progressive" format. I changed it to "baseline" (or "standard") and ZLauncher loads it fine in theme manager.
It could be that folks are using some sort of upload program that is trying to optimize photos for Web viewing and don't realize that it's changing the format.

I saved them as Baseline "standard" and now they work. I was clicking on these and then thought to myself "no, this can't be the problem...", but it looks like it was.
Thanks everyone for the comments, knowledge and solution:)
