OMG... I can't hotsync!!!!

I tried to clean up some stuff using the Control Panel> Add or Remove programs and I noticed that I have 2 programs named Palm Desktop for CLIE and the Palm Desktop...

I deleted both of them and reinstalled the Palm Desktop that came with my NR. Suddenly, guess what? I can't hotsync!!! I tried everything: hard resetting, creating another ID, checking the setup, unplugging and replugging the USB cradle, etc.

My computer running WinXP only detects Sony handheld is connected and my hotsync manager is in my system tray... but...

It does not hotsync!!! Nothin seems to work!!! Can somebody PLEASE HeLP ME?

well i am trying to help a friend install his nx60 he had a treo 90 before. I uninstalled everything I could find in the add/remove programs before installing this, but It still won't hotsync mine either.

Try re-installing the USB drivers. If all else fails, you will have to re-install XP.

If you are in XP use a restore point before your problems before you do any re-installing. That can bail you out of lots of trouble.
