Tweaking the Remote

Anyway to add brands to the remote, or a hack someone's made? I have a Zenith VCR, and there's no Zenith brand anywhere. Do some of the brands work with other ones? Like a Panasonic function on the remote with a Zenith VCR?

Often systems work with other system's remote controls since there are only about 200 commands total. I, for example, use a Grundig profile to control my Siemens TV.
But there's also a usergroup on yahoo that has extended configs. Maybe somebody else could post the adress?

Do you now if anyone has it working with RCA Direct TV boxes. I'll check it out when I get some time. I have tried the learning remote software but not powerful enough. Also tried RCA tv settings but no luck

I'm not sure. You'll have to poke around in the files. If you don't see it, ask. Somebody else may have it done . . . ;)
