okay, i already own a clie NX70V bought from sonystyle, works fine

i recently got a N770C from ebay ...and well it seems to be dead

I've tried everything suggested on the boards (soft reset, hard reset, hold button is off, charged for 6 hours non-stop)

the person who sold it to me says the battery was low when he sent it so i'm thinking it cud be a charger fault ?

my only concern is i cant exactly charge this with my NX charger as its not comptable ...ARGH !!

are there any ways i can check if this is the battery that is dead or the chargers fault ?

The Clie should still turn on in the charging stand, unless there is no power to it. You then need a voltmeter to see if any voltage is present coming out of the power supply.
