I've been noticing that some apps that are not supposed to have hi-res support can in fact display hi-res text. (E.g., TomeRaider and CryptoPad.) Is this an OS5 enhancement or something? I've also noticed that at least for TomeRaider (this may work for other apps), you can change the built-in custom fonts into hi-res fonts. The trick is to replace the NFNT resources with nfnt resources renamed to 'NFNT'. That fools the program to display the hi-res fonts. I don't know if this tip works with anything other than TomeRaider, but I thought I'd share it anyway. I used par to change the resources. If the hi-res fonts come from a .pdb file, you may also need to trim a bit of header from them, up to (but not including) the 0x92 0x00 bytes.

I use Fonts4NX from Lubak.
