So apparently the recent price drop of those Clie wireless card at Best Buy had much to do with the surge of Clie wireless cards at eBay.
Most people overconfidently started their auction at 9.99. I've been bidding on those for a few days and been noticing that the sellers will eventually realize that the bid is not moving and cancel their auction early.
LOL.
That is hilarious. I deeply despise employees who buy merchandise (depleting their local supply) and attempt to sell on eBay.
I saw the same thing with the PS2 network adapter. MSRP was 39.99, and because people CREATED the supply shortage (by cleaning out their local stores as soon as stock arrived and taking it to sell online) prices where easily double that.

I sold the extra cards I had to other cliesource.com members for what I paid for them at BB ($66.99 + tax + shipping).
They went pretty fast and I was happy to help out others on this forum get one.
And yes, they still had the original UPC on the package so they could take advantage of the rebate along with a copy of the BB receipt I got.
Most of the ones I saw on eBay had the UPC code "carefully" removed :)
If you couldn't get the rebate, who cares how carefull they were  :D

I thought the rebate only said to include "a photocopy of UPC bar code", not the actual UPC code. Why did they have to remove it?
All the WL100 was out in all BB around Los Angeles area when I heard this news. Over the weekend, while I was on a trip up North, I stopped by every BB I saw along 101 and found the last one in the city of Santa Maria.

Those of us experienced in rebates sent in the original and made a copy for ourselves. I get about $ 2000 in rebates per year...
