Status bar and input area gone

The icons on my status bar and input area have disappeared. The spaces where the icons and graphics were still work, but since I did not memorize their locations (and I paid $499 for this thing) I would like them back. I checked the palm one site to no avail. Any idea how to do this. I did a soft reset but am loath to try a hard reset right now since I keep just about everything I do on here, it's 1:30 am and I get on a plane tomorrow. Thank you for any asistance.

Had you loaded anything out of the ordinary when you noticed the missing DIA? Umm, do you have MySkin loaded? Is it possible you just tapped the bottom corner and made it disappear like it's supposed to? Have you made any backups recently of your RAM? (If there is normal RAM on a LifeDrive...I'm a TX user myself). If so, just try a restore of your backup. Good luck, hope this helps!

I am willing to bet that you recently installed some new software. When you did this, you installed the T3 statusbar compatability files, statusbarlib.prc and appsliprotate.prc. These files are ONLY for the T3 and should not be installed on anything else. Do not install them again.

To fix this, download and install the free file manager FileZ (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=9992). Use it to delete these two files. This happened to me as well this morning. I solved it making a hard reset and recovering the backup of that morning made by Resco Backup. I am not sure what was the conflicting app as I was installing several at a time. :rolleyes:
