Casing swapping

Humor me here. Does anyone know if it's possible physically to take the guts and screen from an N series clie, and put it into the casing of an S300?

I've just always liked the way the S300 looked and felt. So I figured I take a shot at upgrading the design myself.

Physically possible? Yes, I guess. Anything's possible.

Practical? No. Way too many of the slots and posts inside a Clie are designed to accomodate its own guts and none other.

That's like asking whether you can transplant the guts of a Ford into a Toyota. Yeah, you could try, and some things might work OK. But, most things, like the seats, trunk, headlights, etc., will take far more effort than they're worth.
