NX60 - keep on losing pens!

I have a NX60 which I keep in a Vaja case all the time and when out and about. clipped to my waist. The pen location is on the bottom of the unit so if the PDA is hanging vertically on my belt, and I have forgotten to push the pen all the way, the pen can drop out. I have now lost the original Sony pen and 2 more expensive 3-in-1 pens :o

All the other PDA's I have had including a Handspring Visor, Sony N710C and NX80V have the pen hole in the top. I wonder why Sony chose this strange design choice for the NX60?

Any other NX60 owners out there losing pens all the time?

So any TG50 owners also having lost pen problems or are they using different cases that cover the pen?
