How do I access AOL on my TX?

I want to read my e-mail on my TX. I purchased AOL 3.2 for Palm 5.x. Big mistake! It causes the Palm to go into a loop. I've read of others who had this problem but I haven't heard of any solutions yet. Please suggest how I can access my AOL e-mail. I'm going on vacation soon and I was hoping to use my Palm to keep in touch.

I believe AOL will allow you to get mail via IMAP which is supported by the built-in VersaMail. Try poking around AOL's website for mobile mail....

If you set it up on your desktop, using the desktop versamail client, it does all the work for you, it puts in the ports and servers, you just tell it your username and password.

You can also use Snappermail. Their website gives instructions for downloading AOL mail via Snappermail (it will work on other clients, too).

I forgot to mention I'm using Mac OSX for my desktop and Versamail doesn't work with that.

The Snappermail is worth looking into.

The ONLY solution I have found is Snapper...no browser I've used supports access to AOL web email. Access WAS possible via Palm browsers before AOL "upgraded" thier email web access.

Just wanted to let other users know that I just got Snappermail and it works fine. They have a full working trial version that's good for 30 days. So if you're like me (Mac user, Palm TX, AOL subscriber) then check this out.
