How to enable NZ90 w/ Chinese

As a fan of Clie, I've just upgrade my NR70-V to the new NZ90, everything is quite exciting except I can not keep use CJKOS 4.27 to enable it for Chinese character.

Who can help on this?

Use CJKOS 4.5, You can't get it from the usual website. The new version is bundled with PenPower, a handwriting recognition system, being sold in Hong Kong for around HK $280.

Just write to then and ask for upgrade version, they will send you a link to download the 4.5

You can also get a Palm OS5 version of Chinese OS. www.waterworld.com.hk

This OS is much better than the other ones I've tried. It even support all localizations... So all your desktop, icons, programs, time, will all be in Chinese. You can disable that too if you want.

I just disable the localization option and use the OS for reading my chinese e-books, dictionary, and the bible.

Go chk it out, hope that helps. :)

Tks to all for your help! I've enabled my NZ with Chinese now.

BTW, just want to share w/ you, the CHOS from waterworld's download is just support BIG5 code, no GB code been supported.

CJKOS 4.5 is a pre-release version, but seems running on my NZ stably. They claimed that commercial release will coming soon.

Funny.

CJKOS 4.5 is already a commercial release in Hong Kong for more than 2 months.

It is also the only Chinese system that supports both traditional and simplified Chinese, which I switch between quite often. Best of both worlds, if not for the memory requirement.

The commercial release is also very stable. No problem at all.

I have been using it since my palm V days.

I am using Handragon (former PalmDragon) on my NX (works on NZ90 too). According to my personal experience, I prefer the GOGOPen hand writing recognition on the Handragon over the penpower on CJKOS. You can download the trial version at www.pd.com.tw.

Try to write a few Chinese characters using both software, you will agree what I said.

I have being using Chinese software since my Vx, Handragon is still my pick.
