No Thumbnails in UX50

Dear Folks,

I'm a newbie in this forum and would like you r help with my UX50. It seems that I cannot view thumbnails of my movies stored in the Memorystick. I am using the Clie Viewer and Media Launcher app.
This didn't happen before I made a hard reset and put the UX into factory fresh condition.

How do I gain back the thumbnail in UX50 ?

FYI, I am encoding the movies using Sony Image Converter 1.5

I know this is going to sound stupid, but did you select the movies icon (the one that looks like a strip of film) in Clié Viewer? If it's not toggled on, Viewer won't display your video files.

Yes I did select the movies icon, but to no avail.

In the end I got fed up not finding the solution, then instead I reconvert the videos using the same image Converter that I used before.
Strangely now the thumbnails are there !!!!

I've tried converting full V for Vendetta DVD and the thumbnails are there, so, file size is not an issue (around 400 MB for this video).

I'm still puzzled...
