Ok I recently got a new Lifedrive and have been trying, in vain, to sync my email. But when I get to the setup portion on my desktop I get this error message. "the sync component for this account is missing or not registered. Reinstall VersaMail (TM) Conduit to fix the problem."
I am not really computer savvy and all tries to fix it myself have failed. I need help thanks in advance

It is a software conflict on the desktop, did you have an older version of palm desktop installed. I had this problem and eventually wiped all palm conduits and palm desktop off and installed it again.
Hope this helps!

your better off using snapper mail. it's just a better program overall.

to answer your question I don't have an older version of palm, this is my first foray into PDA land. SO I should completely wipe everything clean off the desktop and try again. also is there a software update that I need to make any of this stuff work? I know how notorious companies are for making you buy this 400 dollar machine and the software is outdated.
Thanks again

SnapperMail is a great mail app for wireless sending/receiving, but it doesn't sync to the desktop (Outlook, etc.).
