Mayday. Unable to erase Newpen!

I'm sure it's something simple, but I'm unable to erase Newpen, and I so want to erase Newpen.

Can someone give me a clue?

And, how is Tealscript for all over graffiti?

I guess you can try two ways!

- disable newpen and then delete it.
- disable newpen and do a soft reset and then delete it.

I am currently using tealscript and I do like it a lot. I previously uses GA but I like tealscript better than GA. One trade off is tealscript is not free but GA is free..... It's your choice!

naturally i tried both of these. no workee,
get msg:

Failed to delete "Newpen" application.
Possible reasons:
--Application opened;
--Application locked;
--Application copy protected;
--Application in rom

I'm using a TG50.

You have to install Filez or Fileman and change the attribute of the NewPen program (i.e. uncheck the "copy protected" checkbox) before you can delete the file.

Try doing a soft reset with the up button pressed. This will do a reset that will not startup any apps (you'll know this works when the preference page shows up as low resolution). Then delete NewPen.

It could be that NewPen is booting up from a soft reset as part of the startup process and so cannot be deleted.
NewPen is not a copy protected program (in which case, you can't beam it! You can still delete it!)

Make sure you disable system tray in the newpen properties and then it will delete!
