Newbie-how to transfer pictures ?

/hi guys,

how do i transfer pictures/video from NX70 to my laptop.

i have tried searching everywhere but no luck on how to proceed. Please help.

Pictures and videos are located on the Memory Stick. Either you use a Memory Stick reader to access it or you connect the NX to your PC and start the MSImport software, which makes the memory stick accessible like an external drive.

You will find the pictures in the folder \DCIM\101MSDCF and the movies in \MQ_ROOT\100MQV01

The movies have an extension of .MQV. You can just rename the extension to .MOV and then play them on your PC with the latest Quicktime Movie Player.

note that the images in DCIM\101msdcf are already jpegs, no additional conversion is required

hi again..well i dont have MS import..just MS export installed in myh laptop?
where can i get this MS Import SW from ?

Don't use MS Export, but leave it on your PC.

MS Import is one of the bult-in apps in your Clie. You use that in concert with your desktop's file manager. When enabling MS Import, it turns your clie into an external disk drive type MS card reader. Then you do your file operations with your file manager.
