NX80V MP3 Remote

I've just recently noticed the remote control for my NX80V seems to have a loose connection in it, so that I have to hold the wire a certain way in order to get full sound. With headphones, that's usually a sign of the beginning of the end, so I'm a little worried about my remote. Which is why I'm posting here.

If anyone's got a remote from an old or broken NX80V (or NX73V?) that you don't need anymore, I'd be glad to pay you a reasonable amount for it - maybe $20, including shipping? I still have the remote from my NX70V and it doesn't work at all, so I think it needs to be from one of the newer models.

Guess how much Sony charged for an audio remote?
Sony Taiwan charged me an equivilant of 37.2 USD! And guess what, that's way lower then the Walkman remotes which have built-in screens.

Damn, aren't they just little things outsourced to some factory in China?

Are you kidding? Those remotes probably use the exact same pins as the PSP ( would save sony some R&D time..)!! And those things are like thrown away on ebay or other such 2nd hand places. I'll be sure to try that out when I get my NX70.

PSP ones have an extra port thing... (sorry, it is 11PM), and won't fit in the NX. The NX one fits in the PSP, but doesn't work. I found a new one on eBay (which I bought) for $10. :)
