Hello,
I just got a clie nx70v last friday and I want to hook it up wirelessly to the internet at my house. I just bought on ebay a netgear wireless router and the pega-wl100 card. Will I be able to get it to work? It is a pretty broad and general question, I am just wondering if anyone has any similar setups? Thanks alot!

You will need to supply more info. PC operating system, ISP connection and provider. How many PC's do you plan to use.

Larry, I'm actually in the same boat...sort of. I already use my wifi card at starbucks, but now want to take the plunge into home networking. I ready your pinned post and it was very helpful, but I have a dumb question. All I want to do is setup my dsl to work wirelessly with my wife's laptop and my clie. I don't need to share files or anything, just wireless access to the internet by my wife with her laptop, anywhere in the house. What do I need? Just the router and the wifi pc card? Am I correct in assuming that the dsl wiring goes into the router and that transmits the signal to the pc card and my clie's wifi card? I looked around the forum...sorry if this question has already been answered....just point me in the right direction! Appreciate the help...and looking forward to the compact flash driver...as well ;)

Basically that's all, a 802.11b wireless router and a PC card. Getting a combo unit wire/wireless might be useful. Using 54G will not be of any benefit and could be a hinderance. Besides, it's more expensive buying 54G! Most seem to have good luck with Netgear, DLink, or Linksys. There are many others that maybe as good or better.

Good luck!

Thanks Larry! I´m on my way to Fry´s to pick it up! Out of curiosity, what would the combo unit do and would that be in place of the router or in addition to? Thanks for the help and taking the time to answer all the dumb questions....
