Wireless update on European TH55s (E1/E2 models)

I've searched in the forum about Sony's Wireless update for the Japanese and American TH55 but cannot find if it's applicable on European TH55s.

My two TH55/E1 do not have the CFEtherNppi file mentioned at Sony's US support site and in some threads in the forum, of course I can test myself if the update works but sure someone else has tested this before.

Any comments please?

On the /E models you don't need the patch.
