Both these DIAs were great, but my vote went to Unity. It just seemed like a little bit more creativity went into it.

I voted for plastic black because if I were to choose to use one of the two I would choose Plastic Black. Either way, good job on both skins! Skin creation with or without HPSS is no "walk in the park"!.

Voted for Unity because it looks like it was obviously more work, as well as more unique, though I actually don't care for the design and colors etc.

i thinks i woud probably more use plastic black but if i judge the origality is really the Unity Dia i never saw anything like that before even if im not in the cross thing
maybe Jim can do one with out the cross and the ring look a like

i really love the metal plate feel of it so i vote for Unity skin :D

When I first started working on Unity, it was really just to test SkinStudio and see if I could do it. Never really thought of releasing it or putting into this contest, but I figured why not. I'm sure I could probably release a version without the Christian symbols (I figured that may limit my audience, but like I said it was orig just for me). Did you say you also want it without the intersecting rings???

I think I may have tried my hand at one if I hadn't had HPSkin Studio already. Of course I wouldn't have known how to do it without HPSkin Studio, kind of a catch 22 :D Maybe he can make a new contest at some point that will involve more registered owners, not sure what the prize could be. Title of DIA God or something :D

BTW, here's a feature request: make it so you have a 'library' of frequently used images that you can access no matter what skin you are working on. My way of working is I build the images in Photoshop then adapt then to fit the skin. It would be nice to have this handled by HPSkin Studio.

Maybe ability to create Windows skins as well? Mac skins maybe? I'm willing to pay an upgrade fee.

So as far as the money I put into it, it was well worth it. As far as Unity, it was my first completed DIA and l wanted to share it -- I never thought I'd win a contest with it. So that's my speil and if l could just concentrate on one design I might be able to get another DIA completed.

its very cool you buy hpss before the end of the contest in a way that was the plan let me explain

one day i was talking with Hervé on IM and i was taking about the our and the effort he make to create a good software so i told him to let me make some pub for is software but not the old fashion spaming publicity so i ask im to give a free license wishing that new user join the hpss mania

as far as i know most of free skin maker purchase HPSS
so iam very proude of the result of the contest cheer

Herve start with a soft call ZLGesPlus hat was a add in for ZL Theme Maker back in march 2004 after that he created ZLSkinPro in april 2004 than mod to ZL skinconstructor in Mai 2004 after that he uptade it till october 2004
that he start working on HPskin Studio add in multiple options untill this new version 13 of HPSS with a wide range of skins so beleive me if you spend 30 us dollors for this soft it shorth 100 times this prices
Herve work on it about 12 hours a day and mores )

i say that because the way i met Herve is because of i found a way to overpass the compilation limitation and post it to a forum and herve read it and offer me to become a member of is beta tester and since then we been in touch and herve always help me with all kind of problem HpSS releated or not
