The two models ships to different regions in the world. Actually they are the same.

So I suppose U refer to US?
MY TG50 is English version. I guess the shop must have imported the U model from US...
coz normally Taiwan sells Chinese version. TG50/C???

I notice some models have labels in orange indicating the input of "accent" alphabets, just the "e" in "Clie". My handheld (TG50/H) does not have such labels, though I can still input accent alphabets by pressing the orange shift.

I live in the UK and am here in Japan on holiday and want to get a TG-50.. they're cheap out here... just 200 GBP... but they have the Japanese OS on them :-(
Anyone know anywhere where I can get a US version of the TG50 in Osaka, Japan?
Or perhaps, does anyone know if I can put the US version of the OS on the machine?

i guess the one u bought in taiwan is so called "water product" parallel imported from US.
cuz i just found out that sonystyle taiwan has just launched their tg50 pre-order promotion which is "TG-50/G".

there's no chinese version! For me, i use handDragon for chinese display & inputs. there are some other softwares doin' the same things as well~ but clearly, there are only jp or eng clie~

As far as I know '/G' stands for General,that means it comes with the australian plug,and the two pin plug
