I understand that the provided method of moving movie files taken on my NZ90 to my pc is by attaching the file to an email. I have done this email thing, however, I am having trouble doing anything with the mpq file.

Does anyone:
1. Know how to create movie files in an mpeg format on the Clie.
2. Know how to covery mpq files on their pc?
(It would be nice just to slip my memory stick in my Vaio instead of emailing.

Thanks for reading,

The vid files are in the "MQ_root" directory and are a .mqv file name. I believe the .mpq files are the extensions for the onboard "movie player" app.
You should be able to open these files on your laptop w/o any problem/conversion. Note that you will need Quicktime 6 to play the movies....
My stick is too full for movies right now or I'd double check!!!

Thanks oes!

I can view the movies on Quicktime 6- just like you said.

I wonder if there is a way to convert the files to mpeg; easier to send them around to my Windows bosses.
